2000 Accepted to approved roster of "Artists in Education" by Texas Commission on the Arts
2000 Accepted part-time position teaching art at Saint Jo Elementary School, Saint Jo, Texas
2000 2nd place ribbon, oils - group show North Central Texas College, Gainesville, Texas
2001 Painted "A Texas State of Mind" 48x72 triptych which established the style and direction of my work for the foreseeable future
