The Official Trail of Painted Ponies
This very popular new art form is the painting of maquette resin and life size fiberglass animals for use in public art projects and for private art collections.
After submission of an original idea representing Texas, Larry was invited personally by Trail of Painted Ponies founder, Rod Barker, to participate in this prestigious art event by painting his own unique style of Texas art on a maquette pony. After having been exhibited at various upscale fundraising events around the state, the pony has found a temporary corral, but it is in need of a permanent home.
