Mane Event Painted Horse Project News -

I have been selected to paint TWO life-size horses for the Mane Event Art/Charity project in Wichita Falls.  The unveiling will take place later in the year.  The one shown below is not it.  It is a small one from the "Trail of Painted Ponies."

The Official Trail of Painted Ponies

This very popular new art form is the painting of maquette resin and life size fiberglass animals for use in public art projects and for private art collections.

After submission of an original idea representing Texas, Larry was invited personally by Trail of Painted Ponies founder, Rod Barker, to participate in this prestigious art event by painting his own unique style of Texas art on a maquette pony.  After having been exhibited at various upscale fundraising events around the state, the pony has found a temporary corral, but it is in need of a permanent home.
